Perspective

You’re either afraid of dying or afraid of not living. Both are the exact same thing but very different in what kind of life they produce. Most of us hold viewpoints about so many things but don’t realize what else we are saying about them. The other perspective that exists can be very subtle and hold the power to completely shift everything. We live out of our perspectives and create our lives from them. We have the perspectives we have for many reasons, none which are wrong because there’s a very good and valid reason for them.

When a person’s life is not to their liking, it is because the perspective they have on a lot of things does not work well for them. It is not the things we do that complicate our lives but the reasons we do them. A reason is a very powerful force; the bigger the reason the more likely the possibility for anything.

Perspectives go hand in hand with reasons and to change either is a difficult thing but not complicated at all.

One of the most sure ways to change a perspective is to first understand why you have it in the first place. People often attempt to change a perspective by simply telling themselves they’re just going to do so. This never lasts because the base root of the perspective hasn’t been scrutinized. It’s like trying to land an airplane that is on autopilot. It just won’t work. You have to take it off autopilot and take charge of it.

This taking charge is like fully facing the perspective you have and asking yourself many questions on why you have it. That’s how you discover the reasons for it, and again, reasons are very powerful things. Once you’re in that territory of reasons you’re in the creation world and are most likely to create solutions.

If you can find a really good reason why you do anything, no matter how bad the thing is, you’re likely to have authority over it. You become its master. You expose it to the light and things lose power when they’re exposed because strongholds thrive in secrecy or darkness.

This exercise requires one to be very honest with themselves, which is something not natural in society. We have been taught to be whatever is deemed acceptable in society and have lost touch with our truth.

When you honestly ask yourself WHY,you expose so many powerful reasons. Reasons are building blocks for almost everything we do. A person can do the impossible if they have a good reason to do it. Never underestimate the power of a good reason. Once we know what happened and why it happened, we have emotional authority over that happening. With that authority comes the ease of shifting the perspective. It is difficult to change something you’re not seeing properly.

The good news is that what’s ours remains ours regardless. Our truth is always with us and all we have to do is learn to speak its language.

We’re already wired for it so therefore what remains is practice. Daily doing a check of how we’re showing up in the world and how that feels deep down.

Anxiety, anger, fear and many such feelings are a good sign that somewhere there’s a way we’re showing up that’s not serving us…..

Anxiety and stress are really callings of the soul that something is out of place with our perspective.
